Have a Fabulous Day

It's time for some mid challenge inspiration over at the Polkdadoodles Challenge blog, the theme for the DT this fortnight is Use a Die Cut but you can enter an Anything Goes project. I have used papers from the beautiful Polkadoodles Bella Fleur Paper Pad to create my shabby chic card.

I have used one of my Elegant Nest Dies, I cut it in half and used it like a doily - unfortunately I have managed to cover most of it up with my flowers, I also used my Flower Flourish Die.  I created the flowers with the Daisydays Stamp Set and the sentiment is from the Belle Papillon A5 large Clear Stamp Set.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Aud Sentiments Challenge 171 - Anything Goes Little Miss Muffet Challenge 154 - Anything Goes
WordArt Wednesdays Weeks 266-267 - Anything Goes
Moving along with the Times Challenge 37 - Swirls and/or Curls

Regal Carriage

I was commissioned to create five projects suitable for a child's room for the new Box Kit published by Practical Publishing.  I was sent a selection of Tonic Rococo and Tonic Rococo Petite dies along with some card stock.

I decided to make a tissue box cover with some lovely orange card stock from the Tonic Essential Card Pack – Heated Hues and the Tonic Rococo Regal Carriage Die.

I used my Tonic Circle Layering Die and Scalloped Circle Layering Die to cut the hole for the tissues to come out - unfortunately I didn't take a photograph of the top.

I would like to enter my tissue box into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - the theme is Anything But A Card.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

A New Home

I have created this card for the current House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - the theme is New, New, New.

I decided to make a New Home card using a decoupage image and papers from my Joanna Sheen House-Mouse Triple CD.  The striped paper and sentiment are from Pink Petticoat and the flowers and border were created using EK Success punches.

I also used some of the papers from the CD to decorate the inside of my card.

I would like to enter this card into the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.

Life is too short ...

I have made this card for the current challenge at Less is More, the theme is Favourite Drink/Beverage and it is one layer week.

I haven't managed to enter for some time but when I saw the theme I remembered this fabulous coffee cup digi image on my Polkadoodles Work and Play 12 CD and thought it was perfect.  I coloured my image with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens and added a sentiment that is also from the CD.  I have also created an insert for my card by resizing the coffee cup and adding another sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the Less is More One Layer Challenge.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.

Anyone for Golf!

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is For a Man or Boy.

I have used a topper and papers from the All Dressed Up CD again, this time I have used one of the masculine collections.

I cut the golf topper out with an oval die and created a layer of decoupage.  I added distress ink to both the topper and the papers to create a more vintage feel.  The sentiment is from Kraftwork cards and I made my own card candi.

Make sure you pop over to the Ooh La La Creations Challenge Blog and check out the DT inspiration, we would love for you to join us for our For a Man or Boy Challenge.

Thank you for calling today, your company is much appreciated.

Son in Law - CD Sunday

It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and the theme for the next fortnight is Make it Male chosen by Carol. Don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

I used a topper and papers from the Crafter's Companion Camden Town CD to create my card.

The sentiment also comes from the CD, I also added some candi that I made myself by punching out small circles and covering them with 3D Crystal Lacquer.

I have decorated the inside of my card, I'm doing well so far this year!

Make sure you pop over to the CD Sunday Challenge blog and check out the DT Inspiration - we would love for you to join us for our Make it Male challenge, just make sure you use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit.

Thank you for calling this morning, please leave a comment so that I know you've been and will be able to come and visit you.
